Congratulations to all the winners.


Expressions - UTOPIA 2010 has been very successful. Over 700 photographs in total were received and it was a tough time for the jury to make decisions. The first short listing of around 200 photographs was followed by the selection of jury’s top 35. This tag had been applied to all selected photographs in the Exhibition. Then, finally the winners were announced on the 27th March 2010. The jury was very keen for the entries for PSYCHO, satisfied with the entries for PORTRAITS, and PHOTOGRAPHICS and not satisfied with the entries for the FILMSTRIP.


Following which, the jury took out the top 3 in the former categories and only 2 filmstrips. Hence in the filmstrip category, only 2 strips were selected and awarded.


All participants shall get a certificate of participation for Expressions 2010.


The winners who have secured the First, Second and Third position need to give in the following details to be able to receive the Cash prize via INTERNET FUND TRANSFER –


1. Your bank account no.
2. Bank branch and complete address of bank
3. IFSC code for the bank
4. Your name and complete details.

URL - Utopia Rocks Lives

UTOPIA 2010 has an entire battalion of rock events lined up in succession for the average rock enthusiast. URL is SPA's way of bringing rock music and rock fans together via various mediums.
Starting with CODA - our indigenous western music society's performance as a rock primer.
The annual Rock competition at Utopia has been a crowd puller for centuries(ignore the stretch) and this year 25th March'10 will witness the rocking prelims at the architecture block.
The winners shall be decided at the Rock finals to be held at the same venue on the 27th March'10 followed by the Rock highlight - A hairraising performance by guest bands BLEND and BOOMERANG!

Bamboo Dance Workshop

If you people have checked out the jam packed schedule of UTOPIA 2010, i am sure you all must have noticed the words bamboo dance workshop and wondered about it. Well now you don't need to ponder no more as we have this exclusive event being held on the 26th of March'10 sharp at 4 pm IST at the planning block. Whats even better, the organisers of the event have enough dough to shell out 1500 indian bucks ( not the Salman kinds) to the best student of the workshop - I mean wow, first you get to learn this amazing traditional dance form and they may end up paying you for learning it well. Thats Utopia for you folks - attendees get the cake and have it too. See you all: 4 days to go.

Time Out - Sepia

Acceptance of entries have been closed for Sepia, our national photography contest. All those who participated, we wish you the best of luck and the others who couldn't participate this time, never fear, Utopia 2010 is here - there will always be a next time and lots of fun stuff comin up to cheer you all.

That greatest time in the year is here when UTOPIA 2010 finalises its much awaited schedule of all the coolest, hippest and chic'est stuff happening in the Delhi College fest Circuit. Our hearts are bursting with anticipation to experience UTOPIA (pun intended) in its chic'est form as it kicks off with a competitive KARAOKE, elevates with SPANDAN's theatre performance, peaks with celebrity AYAAN ALI KHAN's act, peaks more with ZEPHYR the chic'est fashion event and ends with a supernova featuring rock bands BLEND & BOOMERANG. All this excitement and much more between the lines drives us Utopians to make this a bash to remember.. Be there or beware heh heh

School of Planning and Architecture is the premier institution of Planning and Architectural studies in India, boasting a futuristic curriculum and a promising bunch of creative individuals with a zest for unadulterated fun.
